FIRST ANNUAL AY RECRUITING SOLUTIONS USER CONFERENCE A RESOUNDING SUCCESS

Clients Share Best Practices at Initial User Conference

Fairfax, Virginia - June 27, 2007 - AY Recruiting Solutions, leader in online admissions and recruitment services for colleges and universities, gathered more than 250 customers and business partners at its first annual AY Recruiting Solutions User Conference, at the Washington Marriott in downtown Washington, D.C., June 25 -26. Attendees included AY i-Class users from around the world, and represented undergraduate, graduate and business schools.

The AY User Conference spanned two full days and featured case studies, workshops and in-depth tutorials presented by i-Class experts. Attendees had the opportunity to discuss industry trends, network with other i-Class users with similar experiences and exchange ideas on how to better leverage the i-Class system for their organization.

“I really enjoyed learning from all of the other AY users out there,” said Sara Ashenburg, Director of the Duke Environmental Leadership Program. “I have a long list of things that I’d like to implement; specifically functionalities that I wasn’t using to their full potential or I had just forgotten about them.”

The first day of the conference included the keynote address by Congressman Tim Bishop. A former admissions counselor, Congressman Bishop sits on the House Committee for Education as well as the Subcommittee on Higher Education. As a leading advocate for improving the accessibility, affordability and accountability of higher education, he spoke on topics ranging from student recruitment to the future of the student loan industry.

Throughout both days, interactive sessions were presented by speakers from leading universities including Harvard Business School, University of Southern California, Duke University and MIT’s Sloan School of Management. A hot topic of conversation at the conference was the upcoming launch of The Common Application Online. The Common Application is a not-for-profit organization that serves students and member institutions by providing an admission application that students may submit to any of the organization’s over 300 members. The Common Application Online uses the AY i-Class application technology platform, giving students a secure and convenient way to apply for college.

"The AY Recruiting Solutions User Conference was a great opportunity to connect with customers and partners from around the world," said Leonard Metheny, president and CEO of AY Recruiting Solutions. "Any time we can help our users to learn new ways to implement our software, we know we have been successful. In fact, clients have already started to ask for the date of next year’s conference."
